* ■ Tryouts, 13U AAA/Major FCA Knights, an Eastern Jackson County team will hold open tryouts for the 2012 season on July 30 and Aug. 6, 10 a.m. to noon each day, at Legacy Park Field 3 in Lee’s Summit. All positions will be considered. Pitching and catching experience a big plus. Team will play 50-plus games, which includes a competitive league, 8-10 tournaments, including state and world series. One or two tournaments will be out of town. The FCA Knights are the 2010 USSSA 11U AAA State Champs.
