Roswell Currently Enrolling Men's Flag Football League Teams
Summer is quickly fading, so the current question is: are you ready for some football? If so, you have until August 12 to round up some friends and lock in your team's registration to toss the pigskin with the Roswell Recreation and Parks Department this fall.
The city's recreation department is once again offering its men’s flag football league.
"This league is a great opportunity for adults to experience competitive play," according to a statement released by city staff.
League teams practice on their own during the week and inner-league games are played mainly on Sundays – though occasional Saturday games will be played as well. Depending on the number of teams that register, the season could start as early as August 21.
The cost is $655 per team.
Registration for returning adult flag football teams from the spring 2011 season ends tomorrow, July 22. All other teams may sign up between July 25 – August 12.

The Recreation & Parks department will take registration forms Monday – Friday 9 a.m. -5 p.m. at Roswell City Hall 38 Hill Street, Suite 100.

Please note this is a two-step process involving setting up an account, then creating the team. For full directions on signing up, see below. This teen league allows girls to form their own teams and play with friends for an entry fee of $500, which includes a 10-game regular season, a tournament and game jerseys, said Tom Gilliam, Milton's recreation program coordinator.
