JCPenney Home Expressions bedspread is a good option. In the picture they show it coming to the floor but in reality my king only goes to the bottom of the boxspring which works with our bedframe (our mattress is 8"thick or so). LL Bean also offers a bedspread that I really like but haven't bought yet, http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/47440?feat=131-GN1, I like that it's not frilly or flowery but does have subtle square pattern.
I wish I knew. My Ikea Duvet barely covers the our King sized mattress, nevermind hanging down on the sides. I also have a King sized matelasse from Macys, but it's kind of blah. I'd love to have something a little more bright/funky. It does go down to the floor on three sides though!
