Hoboken, New Jersey’s contempo “Rock N’ Roll” painter Jason Gluskinm Work in a slo, titled “Muscially Speaking” at the Bergen Performing Arts Center Intermezzo Gallery in Englewood, NJ - Friday August 5th thru Wednesday August 31st - Opening reception August 5th 6pm-8pm. The show will feature more than 15 acrylic and oil paintings on canvas. Gluskin’s work has been classified as energetic, whimsical, colorful and musical. His vibrant canvasses are inspired by the rhythm and musicality of urban life.
Pieces on display will include “When I Paint My Masterpiece” featuring The Band and Bob Dylan (Levon Helm has a reproduction of this painting on display at his Ramble Studio in Woodstock, NY) as well as a limited edition canvas print of “Prove It All Night” featuring the late Clarence Clemons, Bruce Springsteen and Little Steven Van Zant.
“I was very excited to hear that The bergenPAC wanted to show my art,” and Gluskin. “I’m thrilled that The Beach Boys, Alice Cooper and Queensryche are appearing in August. It’s a very exciting opportunity for me.” Gluskin experimented with illustration, which eventually led to painting. His work has been shown all around NYC and NJ and has generated significant press. Jason has been featured on television and has been profiled in a short film. He has sold many originals paintings and prints to collectors and has a global following. He has learned that the ability to create is a craft that must be developed and nurtured. Gluskin is currently inspired by European Expressionism, Cubism and the Masters as well as contemporary art. Jason is committed to adding something authentic and positive to the world of art. He is always continuing to develop and challenge himself. He stays close to his loyal fans and is dedicated to making a difference in the greater community.
