Bed And Breakfast Dfw Area

Fairfield Inn & Suites Oklahoma City NW Expressway/Warr Acres ...

When we were in Oklahoma City we stayed at the Fairfield Inn &Suites on the NW Expressway . The hotel is off of a major road and is very easy to find. It is centrally located between the 44 Freeway and the John Kilpatrick Turnpike. It is also surrounded by many fast food and sit-down restaurants. Within walking distance,you have Golden Corral,Taco Bell and Sonic Drive-In.

We stayed in the King Studio. When you walk in a hallway is directly ahead. The bathroom is the first door on your right. The shower/bathtub is on the right,sink and very long counter is on the left.

If you continue down the hallway,on the right there is a mini-fridge, and a small microwave. This is great for us since we usually bring a lot of snacks and drinks for Abby.

The short hallway dead ends into the sitting area where there is a couch,chair,desk and TV. In the picture below,the couch is on the left out of the picture. The door you see connects to the adjoining room but since we weren’t traveling with anyone,that door stayed closed and locked.

Here is the bedroom. There is a bench on the right for putting your suitcase I am guessing. On the left is the closet.

The room was a good size and very clean. The mattress and pillows were not as soft as we would have liked but it was only for 3 nights. We opened up the sofa-bed for Abby and that was where she slept,which surprisingly was more comfortable than the king bed.

Our room was cleaned everyday minus the day that we got back to the room before room service could clean it but it isn’t like we can’t fix our own bed. With our room rate,breakfast was included. Breakfast is served on the main floor in their dining area next to the Lobby. I like the way it was set up,almost like a buffet. The seating area was separate. There were tables,bar seating,outdoor seating and a TV. Breakfast consisted of coffee,tea,milk,juice,yogurt,cereals,breakfast sandwiches,fruit,bagels,muffins,fresh made waffles and more.

We also visited their indoor swimming pool on the main floor as well. The pool is a good size and there is a hot tub in one corner. Lounge chairs were spread out and towels were provided. I don’t know if they heat the pool water or if it is just because it was so hot outside but the room itself was warm and so was the water. We got used to it. Abby had a great time in the pool.

Overall,it was a nice hotel. We have learned that with Abby,we may need to look for a larger room next time as she starts going nuts in confined spaces. She just runs from wall to wall but I think it is because she is used to having so much room at home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Oklahoma City.
